Call the Telluride Nordic Association for current grooming and conditions, 970.728.1144. Please respect efforts to keep these trails in top shape and leave dogs at home when skiing on maintained tracks.

Idarado Legacy Trail
Just east of Telluride Town Park, a gentle intermediate trail follows the San Miguel River and extends toward the end of the valley. With magnificent views of the box canyon and only a few miles round trip, this is a quick and satisfying work out.

Priest Lake
This is a 9-km groomed track that is appropriate for all levels and is eight miles south of Telluride on Highway 145. Park at the USFS Ranger Station on the left. (Dogs allowed.)

Telluride Golf Course
Open fairways mark the 12 km of Nordic trails on the scenic Telluride Golf Course in Mountain Village that can be accessed from The Peaks Resort or the Gondola Station Parking lot in Mountain Village. (Dogs are not allowed.)

TopATen Touring Area
Ten kilometers of scenic, groomed Nordic trails await the intermediate and advanced classic and skate skier at the top of Lift 10. Nordic day passes to ride Lift 10 are available at the Mountain Village Activity Center, but advanced skiers with strong lungs can access the area for free by skiing uphill on the Galloping Goose ski run. The adventurous skier can glide from Magic Meadows beyond the ski area boundary to the historic mining town of Alta Lakes. Restrooms, a picnic deck and teepee warming hut are opn to the public at TopATen daily. Trail maps are available at the trailhead or at the Mountain Village Information Center and Mountain Village Activity Center. (Dogs are not allowed.)

Town Park
Stretch your ski legs on 3 km of circuit track that is appropriate for all ability levels and especially perfect for a quick noon workout. (Dogs are not allowed.)

Trout Lake/Lizard Head Pass
The old railroad grade on the east side of the famously scenic Trout Lake is groomed for approximately 6 km to the top of Lizard Head Pass, providing excellent intermediate skiing terrain. (Dogs allowed.)

Valley Floor
Fifteen km of groomed track that begins from Mahoney Drive/Shandoka parking lot and extends west onto the valley floor. (Dogs are not allowed.)
