From Telluride:
• Lift 7 located next to the free parking lot, Carhenge, on West Pacific Street.
• Lift 8 or the Gondola at the south end of Oak Street.
From Mountain Village:
• Take the Gondola from the free intercept parking lot on Mountain Village Blvd.
• Lift 1 and 10 from the Meadows near the free parking lot.
• Beginner terrain is best accessed from Mountain Village via lifts 1, 4, 10 or the Gondola

MEET THE MOUNTAIN
Intermediate to expert skiers and snowboarders are guided by Mountain Hosts around the slopes and given a taste of the mining history of the San Juan Mountains. Meet at the trail map sign at the top of Lift 7 at 10 a.m. daily. Call 970.728.7525.
MOUNTAIN HOSTS
More than 60 staff and community members comprise this friendly group. Hosts are happy to answer questions or give you a free tour of the mountain. Contact hosts at Guest Services Centers or look for their red jackets on the ski area and throughout Mountain Village.
SLOPESIDE LOCKERS
Lockers are available in the Mountain Village at Slopeside Lockers in the basement of the Plaza Building. Lockers include boot dryers and space to store two pairs of skis and boots. Call 970.728.7522 for more information.
TERRAIN PARKS
Skiers and riders hitting the slopes of Telluride this winter can choose from three terrain parks: Ute Beginner Park, Butterfly Intermediate Park and the Hoot Brown Park Terrain Park. Built for experts only, Hoot Brown Park incorporates the latest in jibs, boxes, hits and a Super Pipe. Those new to the sport can get into the groove in the Ute Beginner Park, located off the Ute Park Lift. The small hits and rollers in this park create the ideal environment for beginners. Featuring modestly sized tables and boxes, the Butterfly Intermediate Park serves as the perfect bridge between beginner and advanced park riding.

NASTAR RACE HILL
Skiers and riders can race the clock (and another racer) on the NASTAR course, located on Lower Misty Maiden near Chair 4.
SLOPESTRACKER GPS SYSTEM
Pick up a SlopeTracker GPS unit at the Mountain Village Activity Center, which will monitor your skiing—incluing number of runs, speed, vertical feet, calories burned and more. At the end of the day, you can retrieve a printout that shows where you skied and all your statistics.
SNOWSHOE TOURS
Visit the TopAten Nordic and Snowshoe area—located at the top of Lift 10—for daily snowshoe tours. The tours wind through serene spruce, fir and aspen forests and highlight Telluride's wildlife, vegetation, geology and history. The two- to three-hour tours are offered daily, and private group tours are available. Snowshoes are provided, but guests should bring snacks and water and dress appropriately (warm layers, ski pants and hiking/snow boots). No snowshoe experience is necessary. TEMPTER HOUSE
Nestled in a spectacular Rocky Mountain setting, one of North America's homes highest in elevation is also the height of privacy and exclusivity. BLACK IRON BOWL
Celebrate the resort's thirty-fifth anniversary this year with the opening of the majestic Black Iron Bowl. This hike-to playground is set against the dramatic backdrop of Palmyra Peak and adjacent to Prospect Bowl. Terrain includes the wide-open Mountain Quail Couloir, Review, Nice Chute, Dihedral Chute, Westlake, Lakeview and more. European-style faces, open glades and steep chutes offer experts backcountry skiing within resort boundaries. Black Iron's north and east aspects naturally gather snow, providing for exceptional conditions. Previously accessible as guide-only terrain, Black Iron will now be open to the public when snow and weather conditions allow.
SUNDAY CHURCH SERVICES
Alpine Chapel sponsors a short on-slope skiers’ church service every Sunday during ski season. Meet at the top of Lift 7 at 12:30 p.m.

Women’s Week 2007/2008
January 24-26, February 10-14, March 3-7
Women who prefer the supportive environment and camaraderie of females will enjoy this program designed and taught by women since 1981. The four-day clinic features five hours of daily instruction, an alignment session, evening seminars, a race clinic, video analysis, and a celebration dinner. The program is for advanced beginner, intermediate and expert skiers. Instruction and a four-day lift ticket are included in the package. Reservations required.
